Adding a card to Samsung Pay is easy.

With Samsung Pay, making everyday purchases is fast, more secure, and convenient. Swipe up from the home button for a simple way to access your favourite cards. Authenticate purchases with your PIN, iris, or fingerprint. Use your card at most merchant terminals where you can tap, scan or swipe a payment card.

Getting started

Open the Samsung Pay app
Tap the plus sign in the upper right corner
Follow the instructions to add your Northern Savings Member Card or Mastercard

How to make a purchase

Open your Samsung Pay app
Select your Northern Savings Member Card or Mastercard
Authenticate your card with PIN, fingerprint or iris scan
Hold your phone to the payment terminal – a subtle vibration and beep will confirm your payment and the screen will show a checkmark with a "Payment completed" message. The payment terminal will also let you know when the payment is approved

Where to use Samsung Pay

Samsung Pay using your Northern Savings Member Card works wherever Interac® Flash is accepted. Just look for the Interac® Flash logo or contactless symbol at the checkout. Some stores will also display the Samsung Pay logo.
