Important: Canada Post Service Disruption
A Canada Post Service disruption is currently in effect. If you receive printed statements for your account(s) in the mail, they will not be delivered until the postal disruption is over. Additionally, there may be a delay in receiving documents and credit cards.
We recommend that you register for our online banking services and sign up for eStatements to access your banking information if you haven't already.
Through our online banking services, you can:
- View account balances
- Pay bills
- Transfer funds - immediately or future dated
- Send and Interac e-Transfer® transactions
- View and download e-Statements and more!

Member Share Clean Up
All credit union members are required by law to own a membership share; at Northern Savings this is equal to $5.00 and entitles members to vote in our elections and special resolutions and even to run for the Board!
There are some members who have a share balance of $0. Our team will be funding these shares over the next few months. We will make our best effort to choose your most operational account to transfer the $5.00 from. You will notice a transfer on a future statement - where you will see a $5.00 withdrawal from one of your chequing/savings accounts and a $5.00 deposit to your share account.
